Ruud Jonker from hifi.nl has visited again to review the audio system and also tested the new overhead speakers for surround systems.
In this version, the baffle is made of red granite and is fully high-gloss polished, hangs in a steel frame and stands on a black granite base.
Unique actively driven open baffle “overhead” speakers for Surround playback, are fantastic in spaciousness due to the open structure and the d’Appolito arrangement.
Our ‘home baffle’ is made of black granite with a lot of mass for excellent pulse response. The baffle is partly high-gloss polished, partly honed and equipped with sandblasted parts.
